Trauma and EMDR Therapy

Trauma can affect how we think, feel, and relate to ourselves and others long after the events have passed. It may show up as anxiety, emotional overwhelm, disconnection, difficulty trusting others, or feeling stuck in patterns that are hard to change.

Trauma-focused therapy provides a safe space to process these experiences, build coping skills, and restore a sense of safety and control.

EMDR is one evidence-based approach that can help the brain and body process distressing experiences in a way that reduces their emotional intensity over time. It does not require going into every detail of what happened, and pacing is always guided by your readiness and comfort.

Sand tray work may be integrated with EMDR for resourcing, emotional processing, grounding, and access to experiences that are difficult to put into words.

Clinicians that offer trauma and EMDR: Ali Wright, Gia Hepfler and Leslie Cole (all EMDR trained)

Religious Trauma/Deconstruction

Leaving, question, or redefining your faith can bring grief, confusion, freedom and uncertainty all at once. Together we can process religious trauma, explore evolving beliefs, and navigate deconstruction in a way that honors both your experience and values.
